I keep trying to purchase the November 2009 Monthly Collectibles using Paypal. I've used this method for 5 years now,but now I keep getting this alert when I go to check out:

Hey! It looks like something went wrong. According to our records, "This account has been blocked from making payments using this payment method.". Unfortunately, this means we can't use Paypal to complete this payment. Please click on "Change Payment" and choose another payment option. You can also opt for a Mail In donation and send cash, check, or money order.

What caused this block and what can I do to remedy it?

Did you get it to work? Did you find out what was wrong with it?

So from the OP, my understanding is my purchased items will become unlocked within seven days of purchase? Just curios because I received two items from random key chests, both of which are best suited for female avatars, and as of yet I can't trade them or sell them on sweatdrop

I've been hearing seven business days around the forum, but the FAQ indicates that it's just 7 calendar days.
But yes, your items should unfreeze in seven days - and knowing Gaia, it's seven days right down to the minute you made your Gaia Cash purchase. And be careful - if you buy more Cash within that seven days, all of your Cash (and items you buy with it) will be frozen for 7 days from the time of your second purchase.

Sounds good to me, cheers for the info. It's funny though, I'm looking to sell these things and each day I have checked the marketplace and their prices have been steadily plummeting. I shall take your advice and avoid cash purchases so I can move these goods on while the still retain some value!
