It's not up to them. It's a legally binding contract. It's illegal for them to make a contract with anyone under 18 without the consent of his/her guardian.

I'm 18 years old, but it won't let me apply. I am getting a message saying "Sorry, but you may not apply to be a moderator at this time." Has the application system not been activated yet?

I got the same message when I tried to apply on this account and I'm in my 20's. I then just went on my mule account for a second to see if I got the same message and my mule account didn't get it (I didn't apply with that account, tho, since the rules state one should apply with their main account).

i think that some people will use the privillage to themselves. I think that people who are accepted will add major amounts of gold to there account and then they become rich by cheating. THAT IS NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!

Moderators can't add gold or items to their accounts, they don't have control over such things.
