The 18+ Rule.. Its Unfair. There are Alot Of Sensible 15 yr Olds Out There.. Some Have Been On Gaia For a Long Time. The Rule 18+ Is Unfair.

Again, it has nothing to do with perceived maturity of minors versus adults. It has to do with legal issues. In the USA, you must be 18 or older to sign a legally binding document without your parents' consent, and when you apply to become a moderator, you must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, which is legally binding.

☍i have been thinking of applying for a while now, and as i have no experience with the application i was wondering if applications are only open for a short time, i.e. as soon as the required number of applicants is filled the applications close, so in theory they may only be open for half an hour or less.
My point is that i check the nda once a day, would that be enough to catch it when applications re -open?
or should i be checking more regularly?☍

It's an open application process,meaning the link to the application is never closed unless the slots are filled (which is about one hundred).
A nifty thing that many users did was place the link as their homepage.
