When they first introduced them there was a glitch in the system, instead of the intended 100 applications there were a 1,000. So its taking them a while to sort through it all and refine the process. |

When they first introduced them there was a glitch in the system, instead of the intended 100 applications there were a 1,000. So its taking them a while to sort through it all and refine the process. There's roughly about 200 applications left to be looked at. After those are accepted or denied, then the Application will be tweaked and then released for us. Common thought is that there most likely wont be anything available yet till after new years, but we don't really know for sure. |

Hypothetically, if you are under 18, is there a different application for Mod-Assistants? When you do turn 18, can you then become a regular Mod? What kind of verification questions are asked? ninja But obviously I'm over 18, just curious.

Before, there was no application to become a Mod Assistant, they were just chosen, and they had the option of accepting the offer or not. Even now, the application is just to become a Moderator, though I believe you would actually be an Assistant for a while. And no, they don't just automatically become an actual Mod when they turn 18. There's a Mod Assistant that I've seen before, that had applied to become a Moderator, and was accepted. That is how it is for all of them. And as far as the questions on the application go? They can't be discussed. Moderators some times will need to act on a situation in an instant decision on their part, so in a way, the Admins want the Application to be the same type of thing, that way they see more realistic answers, instead of rehearsed ones. ~ I Love Kyle. ~ |

To go into a little more detail about the question Triley answered concerning dreamsk's question. As far as what I know. From what I have read that Tali has updated us with etc. Again I am only telling you this off of what I read and am only human I could be wrong... But pretty sure I do remember reading this. I do not know when but from what I got from Tali's past posts the Mod. Assistannts will be phased out. The Assistants were given a chance to apply for Modship etc. an application just like everyone else and will go through training. And from also what I have read... in this forum but quite a while back. After being accepted you will go into training and after that I am unsure what we will be called but I know you do not become an assistant. Hope that makes sense.. I have a horrible toothache stare So I can't think very well gonk |
