I've recently switched all my items to this new account, which is my new main account. If I were to apply from this account, it's only 90 days old, but my original account is a member from '06. If I provide the user name of this account (and actual proof that it is mine) would that count for the 6 month rule? They could also do a background check on that account. I've never gotten a warning/ban, so it's cool.

It's best to have the limited amount of posts/age on the account you are applying with, whether or not any other accounts have been here longer.

Can you're IQ and or buisiness status effect your chance of being exepted? (like my friend has a huge IQ and a good job yet he's like 16 and also do you count as being 18 if you have been amancipated from your parents just woundering)

Need some more guild members and most requests will be accepted unless you make it a huge joke.

A curious question.
I applied to be a moderator in the summertime but my request was rejected solely because I hadn't had enough of a reporting history in terms of ToS violators being reported by myself. As of recent, I've made quite a habit of reporting inappropriate activity in places such as forums and Towns. Now my reporting activity is going up significantly in comparison to before. My question is this: Even though I previously submitted an application, will I ever be able to be considered for a moderator position once my reporting is up to par?

Happy Holidays to everyone. =]

When/if users are able to submit another Application, the requirements will probably be updated on the first page for what the Staff is looking for. If you meet the requirements at that time (When the application is reviewed) then there shouldn't be a problem with being considered.

"Maybe it's a beaver, eh?"

"Growing older is inevitable - growing up is optional."

Okay, this is my question/concern.

I meet all of the requirements, but have not yet reported. This is because the things I've seen are maybe just BORDERLINING inappropriate; like, pictures showing lots of flesh, but no 'special' parts. People use mules all of the time to send insults or threats to one another... So this is my question. What exactly is reportable material, and what's overkilling it?
I suppose I fear being a tattletale and bothering Gaia with miniscule reports, thought I don't often enough see 'big' problems.

I've been on Gaia for nearly four years and rather favor the idea of helping in any way to make the site better.

A report can cover anything from minor violations to the more serious situations. All of which should be reported. A violation is a violation and they are all handled regardless of how minor they may be.
The ToS link and Rules and Guidelines threads should be your point of call to determine what is and is not acceptable both on the site as a whole and for the individual forums.

Thank you.

I am aware of the T.O.S, but I think I'll make it a habit of keeping them by my side as I start to look for violations. I suppose my concern was reporting too much, or bothering with too many minor problems. But what you've said makes sense, and I've ideas about where I can start finding these problems.

Thank you very much for your help.
