Just a suggestion, I would change the post style. It's a pain to look at and if you're going to apply you want to make a good impression.

I would suggest asking your previous mentor to forward it/about it if the time has passed and you think you've addressed the points given to you.

Also too2sweet, that’s about the same time I applied as well funny enough.

I think there was a pretty good window of opportunity at that point for getting an app in. I think it was open for several days around that time. I was having trouble getting the actually application to pull up with Internet Explorer. The NDA page would come up, but after I put in my password it kept taking me back to the same page. It took me several days (and the use of a whole other browser) to work it out. I was so excited about getting the NDA page to come up, that when it wouldn't work, I was like....Nooooooooo!!!! xd Then I finally got it to work, and my printer failed. stressed blaugh

It could open at any time. Don't drive yourself nuts though checking like crazy. Once a day is plenty. You'll get an app when you do. It could be days, it could be weeks before they have a slot. there is no way to tell. It will go by quicker though if you just check once a day, and then go on with your day not thinking about it.

but as some ppl said that the applications are on a rolling basis, the spots open up when the admin checls them
but cause the timezones are different by the time i come on the admin wouldve opened it ages ago and i wont be able to get in cause all the spots are already taken

If it’s any help I’m in the UK and got in without problems it really is the matter of luck. It was very late a night where Gaia was lactated and early morning for me so really don’t worry about time zones.

As Sweet n Leo said on an earlier page, he lives in New Zealand and still managed to get an application in. I know someone from Newfoundland and parts of Europe who are also mods who get applications in -- time zone shouldn't be an issue.

All we have to do is wait for the time when the applications are taken . Being patience takes lot of hard work. Oh well ! just have to wait and see what happens.

From what I've seen, lately when it's open, it's open for more than a few minutes at a time. Since it's not announced a lot of people don't notice it opens up so there isn't the massive rush to apply like there was at the first application, which means it fills up slower, which means you all have a shot getting to apply even if you're not online when they do open up again.

Please re-read the FAQ (2nd post on page 1). Applications open when they open. Your Admin Lead friends told you they don't know. If they don't know, no one does.

I used an unconventional method to look up this user's post count. Their question has been answered in PM, so that the method is not used to violate user privacy. (method learned by moderator, not exploitation).
