So, I see that apps are open...but it's not letting me apply..
I get this message when trying to do so...

"Sorry, you may not apply to be a moderator because your account had been banned within the last year!"

However, yesterday was a year since I'd had my account unbanned ( it was banned because I got hacked and I got it back feb 13th of '08 ). So why is it not letting me apply? D:

It tends to do that, regardless of age of warnings/bans. Unfortunately at this time you will not be able to apply.

When this first happened I remember PMing a dev to ask about it and they said to just wait 'til the year was up. I assumed that meant I'd be able to apply to be a mod after that year. D:

-sighs- That's so not fair. Especially when I didn't do anything bad to receive the ban. Oh well...

Does temporary banning apply too? Because someone tried to hack into my account a few different times and so my account was temporarily banned for a short period of time each day for about a week because there was a lot of inaccurate password entries. I'm pretty sure that it was all someone else's doing to cause it, but I might have done it once and I can't say for sure because there's no way for me to keep track of who's trying to figure out my password.

Anyways because of that, I'm getting the same message as Tangled Puppet, and I'm asking because I have a slightly different situation.

The password locking out isn't recorded as a ban on your account, so that doesn't apply. That's not what's doing it to you.
