It shows that you know your way around the site and are active enough to become a moderator. Also, it shows you know where to post so you don't get reported.

So you would know where everything is on the forums and that show you would be active lot at times to be in forums i think that why? Well there some things there reason why.

yes it is

Uhm...no, they don't. Mods are volunteers and are not paid in anything but Thank You's from members, if that.

You need to be fairly active on Gaia, at least devoting a couple hours a week to moderating,.

This may have been asked before.... what if we can't find any abuse to report.... or if we are part of a thread that lets you brake laws regularly............. i have two yeas to go.... and i want to get started helping as soon as possible

Trust me, there are always things to report. You don't have to report abuse only. You can report for misplaced threads, spamming, signature size/content, sexually explicit material and more. And if you are breaking the rules regularly, it's doubtful they will accept you. Unless you have shown since then that you are more mature and have been following the rules.

... oh... see there is a role play i am apart of, where the owner lets us occ as much as we feel to make it feel more welcoming.... and i do my share... aka alot... of occing... but we have only been reported once... i want to know if i should change that now or if they will let it side because of the purpose

There is a Barton OOC for extensive ooc'ing. Perhaps making a separate OOC thread for that RP would be beneficial. Regardless, I doubt that one report for such will bother your chances at being accepted if you apply. I've had a couple thread moves and posts deletions, and when I checked if I would be given the okay to apply, the moderator said I was in the safe.

thank you........ and we tried the occ forum thing..... it failed with in ten pages of creation.... but do to the occ we have hit 1541 pages.... that always good for a role play right?
