Twizzy, everything I've been seeing/reading says that at least 6 months is a little more flexable requirement. Like your account could be 5 months and some change and qulify. But don't quote me on that.

I'm thinking this too. I was just curious because I would love to apply and be on the list, but if it is an absolute requirement then it would be worthless.

Anyways, by what I've seen, by the time they got to my name, my account would be over 6 months old.

"The age of one's account is very important to the application process.
The main reason being that six months should be plenty of time to know the site well enough to navigate through it without confusion.
It also curbs how many applications are pushed through."

Agree with Fetus, I just want to also note in my own words that if the rule wasn't there we may have people that have only signed up a month ago and applying. But the people looking though applications won't be able to truly know if you are reliable because of your short amount of time spent here.

If the account you're on isn't 6 months old then it probably wont allow you to apply anyway. The filter is in place to cut out applications who don't meet the basic requirements at the door.

The link can actually be found by reading the entire FAQ, and this was done intentionally. The FAQ was written for a reason, these are questions that have constantly come up in the last year and a half of the old sticky, and so were compiled and answered. It's beneficial to read the thing.

You need to read the first page VERY CAREFULLY.
We cannot give it to you and there is a good reason we can't. =D
