I might've heard that rumor once, but the simple fact is that if they change something that major, there will more than likely be some sort of official posting. Updating the front page, an admin posting in the thread, maybe even a site-wide. If you don't see any of that, you can safely assume that nothing has changed.

Carnadhiel: According to the front you can only become a mod under the age of 18 if a legal guardian gives permission and only IF Gaia creates a separate method of obtaining that information. Until the method is created, no one under 18 may apply.

If there is a rumor floating around about this being true, I'm sure the Mods are not allowed to disclose that kind of information because that may be a breech of contract. =/

I'm getting a sort of "error" when I try to enter my name and password. I enter my real name and correct password, however, once I click "SUBMIT", it simply refreshes the page (in a way) and takes me nowhere. I also filled in the box saying that I read what needed to be read and agreed to as well.

Basically, your parents have to sign an agreement that it is okay for you to be a moderator. Kind of like when parents have to sign a permission slip in order for their child to go on a field trip. =/

If it does not, what type of action do you recommend that I take?

Panumbra: Firefox is actually really nice for the addicted Gaian. The Gaia Toolbar is amazing in my opinion. <3 I really hope it works for you after you go through the trouble of downloading the browser.
