A forum is a place to put threads, also known as topics. You simply have to make three hundred total, posts or threads. They don't all have to be one or the other. All they're worried about is your total post-count.

Read the FAQ on page 1. It's important to know how to read stuff like that if you want to be a moderator.
And if it is stated that you must have achieved certain numbers on the site in certain areas before you can apply, then that is how it is, no workarounds.

Is there such thing as "reporting too much"? I've been cutting down lately since I signed up to be a mod and I've been catching more things then I usually do.

Nope, there is no such thing!

Just be sure you are being accurate and not rushing through reports for the sake of doing a lot.

My question is, when one has been rejected for whatever reason, when are you allowed to apply again?

Under the current system, those that are rejected cannot reapply.

That's what I thought. I'm not rushing, just noticing more. razz And I think I'm doing it the right way... when someone sends you a gold scam, would that be under password phishing?

Password phishing wouldn't be correct there, necessarily, but this isn't the place to discuss it.

I'm sure it's nothing, but I will run it by you guys just in case.

I submitted my application a while back and it showed the status as awaiting review. I went to check the status today to see if it said anything different and I got the box saying "We're not accepting applications at this time."

But hopefully it's just that the application window has closed again because you've all received so many applications.
