Welcome to Gaia! ::

*Sigh*
I had apply in two different browsers but it always re-load to the same page does anyone had another suggestion?

Browser used: IE and Opera

And I guess that the ban thing most be a glitch because if you are ban ((No matter the type)) you are ban not currently or afterly ban.

Firefox, no doubt about it. It's the browser that's worked for everyone else that's had the same problem as you. smile

Try Firefox. Most users who use Firefox apply just fine.

Very well, then Thank you Shouko and Toriki_Tojimo ^_^
        Are Mods required to have their online status unhidden? Or does it not matter?
It's not a requirement - most keep theirs hidden, as far as I know.

        Thank you for answering. I noticed that generally moderators are always "offline" so i assumed that most kept it hidden.
Will everyone who applies, definately get a PM letting them know whether they're being considered, or not? I'm just wondering if they find out that their application has been seen.

I've heard you will get a PM to let you know whether your application has been accepted or rejected =]

That's what I thought it said, but I just wasn't positive. Thanks for the confirmation! 3nodding

I still think it's a good idea that they're only accepting people who are 18 and up. If they were allowing others to become mods who weren't that age, it would be chaotic. No offense, but some people are still falling for those "you have been reported" scams.

This has nothing to do with the age. Adults fall for those scams too. Falling for those is less maturity and more lack of knowledge of how to keep your account safe.

The age thing is only an issue because California Law states that minors (17 years old and younger) cannot deal with pornographic/gore content. As a moderator, it would be your job to remove this content from Gaia if someone were to be rude enough to post it. Since Gaia Headquarters is located in California, they must bide by US and California law. This is covered in the ToS, which is something future moderators must become familiar with.
