If you want to know how many post you have, you can easily check via "My Gaia"

@kami cause leo lives in the NZ the time zone is still around 3hrs she's 3 hrs infront so
when they open up its around 3am-4am my time and for her it shouldve been 6am-7am which is a later time than mine and im not allowed to stay up past 2am >< it still never opens up

Like I previously said, when they're open they're usually open for days at a time. So timezone isn't a factor.

There were recent staff layoffs, and it's possible that some of those staff handled applications. Give it a month or so and things should go back into the normal swing regarding training and getting applications through quickly. I do know one admin involved with Training has been laid off.

If you can't apply right now due to "not taking applications at this time", that means NO ONE can. There can only be a set amount of apps in the system at a time to be reviewed. As one is accepted or declined, a spot will open to apply. Gaia is always looking for more mods so don't worry about positions filling.

Nonono sweatdrop They've been looking for mods SINCE 2007. They're still looking and most likely will be for years.

but before when i checked they took off the link to apply in the old thread so they stopped looking

They've been looking since early summer again. They didn't announce though site-wide. They announced in the mod application questions thread for those who were keeping track of updates there on the process. They don't bother announcing site wide anymore because the slots would fill too fast for anyone to benefit from that. They just let users read the FAQ here, then try to apply. If they can't get in when they try, they are asked to be patient and try again later. Plus if you don't show massive patience during this time, you could be looked negatively upon when you do apply. Moderators must have extreme patience.

but how can people just get in so easily on their 3-4th try? >< and ive tried about like a million times but never got in
do you think they open atleast a few minutes everyday? cause then ill try staying up all night trying to get in
but if i dont get in still then... =.=

When I was waiting for an application, I was actively checking the link for well over a month before I managed to get a slot. At that time, many other people posted that they also got a spot. Many applications open at the same time, it's just a matter of watching and waiting.

I think you're just obsessing over it a little too much sweatdrop Check once a day, then forget about it. The less you think about it, the quicker you'll get an application in, I promise.

but dont you ever get a thought in your brain that if you dont check in like 5-10 mins the spot might open up and someone else will take it? ><
