Loss of 10k?

I had 603k and now I have 593k.

I didn't purchase anything, it just disappeared when i checked my notifications.

Has this happened to anyone?

Have you done anything that might require gold?
Placing a bid, entering the avi arena, things like that?

If not, check your marketplace log and trades for anything odd.

I'm going to just go out on a limb and ask if you have been into Towns lately, and if you have changed any signs there? I can't remember the number off the top of my head, but I know that that costs gold as well.

No, I have not bought anything. I was actually at the time saving up for something, and when I checked notifications, BAM! Loss of 10k.

I think changing a sign costs 10k. I remember when I was a newbie I did that on accident and lost 10k.

@OP: did you change your username? That also takes 10k if you've used up the two free changes.

No clue what happened then. But 10k isn't all that much. I personally wouldn't be too concerned about it. You may still want to contact a moderator though.
