Would you please add ImageShack (http://www.imageshack/us/ ) to the White list? You can see that their Rules go along with Gaia's TOS, and there's a link on the main page where one can report abuses.
I find that Image Shack is a lot better than Photobucket, so I use that instead. I'd host images on my own website, but I can see why you'd discourage that. |

Woo! Thanks, Pan! With the allow images above every post there really is no reason to white list a whole bunch of other sites. How ever PLEASE increase the character limit for signatures or at least make it so BBcodes and URL's for Gaia and Photobucket do not count towards the limit. Also, thank you for removing Flickr from the white list. :3 Ketira- No. They are more likely to use that because it does not require sign up AND they do not moderate it as closely as sites that DO require sign up. They used to allow anyone to upload, but now they don't. Also, they don't allow any porn or anything that's hateful in nature (go back to my other post and click on that link!) --just like Gaia. That's why they should be included. |

I don't really care about any other sites They've done that for the same reason I can't use my own website - there's a possibility of porn involved. At least with Image Shack, you get image guidelines that are similar to Gaia's. What you can do for the time being is take the image that Tektek gives you, save it on your hard drive, and upload it to Photobucket. As long as you credit Tektek, you shouldn't be in any trouble over it. |

The thing is that no matter what is implemented, you're not going to get rid of the gore and porn and such. If you put up one way to block it, there is going to be a way around it. if you put up another to stop that, there will be a way around that. As soon as the way is found though you are going to find that it is going to spread like wild fire.

I second Aenakume's plea. If tinypic or tinyurl are not going to work, please increase our signature's limit! I can't insert more than 1 picture in my signature now because photobucket urls are so long! :/
