Bonsoir! Can i offer a suggestion?
If you are gonna be disabling things like tinypic and other url-shortening addresses, could it be possible to increase the number of characters allowed in signatures? To link to a guild in Gaia is a
minimum of 64 characters:

To link to a thread is shorter
if you know how to doctor those long links:

instead of:

(That's 55 vs. 91 characters.)
The
minimum Photobucket link is 54 characters.

(And it gets much longer quickly when you ad the user name, image name and any directories.)
So the
minimum length for a link to a guild with an image is 118 characters:

Now, when you add the user name and image name, that has to be an extra ten characters
at least. That means that a single link to a guild with an image is going to be bigger than 128 characters.
And that means that you cannot have two of those links in your signature. You can only link to one guild at a time with an image if you have a 255 character limit. You
may be able to swing one link to a guild and one link to a thread (like, for a petition), but that's stretching it, and you won't be able to add a comment like "the concept of beauty may be elusive, but a rose is simply beautiful" on top of that. That's kinda limiting.
So why not increase the character limit to, say, 512, if we can't use url-shortening?
