how long do hack reports usually take to solve?

Hey everyone!

Last week I found out I had been a victim of.... HACKING! crying

Yes... a true fear for all gaians...

Anyway, does anyone know how long it usually takes for gaia to resolve a hacking report? I know i'm probably being impatient but I do worry because all my gold and 27 items were taken crying !!!

It varies with each report. Some have been solved in as little as two weeks, others may take years.

Give it a month and a half...if you don't hear back PM a moderator with the reference number from your report to see where they are at in solving your case.

In my case the person actually used trades to take my items, not gifts... though it was probably a duff account but I suspect that the items probably ended up in the marketplace on a number of different accounts to try and cover themself...

My hacking report took about 2 weeks and they gave me back all of my items.
Really, there is no way of determining when, unless you ask an omni moderator.
Like for instince, my friend got hacked/scammed and it took about a month for her to get her items back.

An omni won't give a specific date, even if pressed. Different things take different amounts of time. Trying to give a specific date, especially because new reports and new things happen all the time, just isn't reasonable.

Hack reports take some time, but not forever. Longer than a week, less than a year or half year or any of that. I can't get more specific. I'm not an omni and I can't ballpark that kind of estimate. And it is subject to change. Just be patient. If you report, they will get to you.

When you give in a hack report they have to investigate the report. Like police investigations. When they get a call about something they don't just give you an answer, they investigate which takes a month or so. Mostly it takes a month but sometimes it takes more than that.

i got hacked on the 23 this month.
idk my first time
im just going with wat ppl tell me : wait a month and a half then send ur reference # to an omni mod
i know ppl that had to wait a week too almost 2 yrs

I have had another account hacked but i forgot how long it took to solve.

I found the exact date and messaged an omni mod. (They traded so even i could see when they done it instead of gifting) So I told the omni mod and gave them my report number but they weren't to bothered... at least it seemed that way. I mean on my report I didn't know because I hadn't been able to get on for a while and it was like month period, not a specific date, nor a specific list of items.

I was hacked last month and is passed 2 weeks from my report.

The b*****d have used trade then I think is a easy case but seems the SOB have traded the items to other innocent gaians.
21 items...and I like them.

If I found matingot_dods in real life I rip his organs from his mouth and use his skull like a bowl.

Strange thing the *éùà++è+ù is still around, 2 weeks and not banned.

It could takes months, or days, or years, it depends when they really can be bothered to get round to it.
