Gold granting and Gaia economy (Marketplace, trades, etc) disabled - October 1, 2008

Hey, everyone!

It looks like something went very wrong earlier tonight, and users were granted more gold than what they are supposed to. Gold granting for posting and surfing, as well as the entire Gaia economy has been disabled as a precaution. The developer team is looking into this matter.

If you have been affected by the gold granting, please do not touch the gold. DARKNRGY has set up a thread where you can report this issue, located here: TOO MUCH GOLD????? Come tell DARKNRGY about it

Gaia economy (marketplace, inventory, daily chance, etc) down - October 13, 2008

Hey, everyone!

It looks like something hiccuped in the system and took down the marketplace, inventories, daily chance and other related features. Yes, this is affecting everyone on the site. gonk

Don't be alarmed, though! All those pretty items you had in your inventory should return to you as soon as these features are brought back. For now, please try to remain patient while we prod at the developers with really long and pointy sticks! ninja
