Update 5. Inventory / Item / Event Issues Issues related to Items your Inventory Cannot save Changes Aug 29, 2004: After clicking on Save Changes, it takes you to a blank page. Switching the servers or altering the url does not help. sad |

new Linklist - Cannot Post Reviews Update 8/Aug/2004: The link list is functioning now (users can browse) but you cannot post a review still. (loads white screen) There is no ETA on resolution of the linklist being down. NEW DAO_gaiastatus_update and DAO_gaiacharacter_update These seem to be caused by an error in the Gaia code. It occurs at random, though. The current fix is to simply refresh, and it will solve itself. In the case of the first one, it is an error when updating your status (who's online box at the bottom of the forum index) and so nothing happens at all. In the case of the second, it has occured during trades. Users who experience this simply need to either restart the trade, or refresh the screen that they were at. Neither of these glitches are causing lost items at this time. |

New Disappearing items in completed trades Occasionally when a trade is completed, the items will not be sent to their respective parties. We are not sure what is causing this. I would recommend not using the bank during this time. Please do not panic, as this will only make the problem worse. This problem is still waiting a resolution. |

Immedate things to know![color=white] Giftwraped items After you wrap something in the stores, the box is unable to be opened. Pelase do not wrap anything until this is fixed (just because it cant be opened). "Autosend" PM's An "Autosend" PM is an automated message from Gaia. Examples are the PM from admin when something is sold in the marketplace, or the automatic message that comes when a moderator moves a thread. These messages from Gaia cause your PM's to behave odd. Symptoms are seeing the PM bubble, but when going to your Inbox, nothing shows. Occasionally will cause forums to act odd also. |

The issue is, that in light of the problems on Friday with the bank devouring items and random other problems (see my announcement at the top of the forum) the admins had formulated a script that would have fixed the problems, avoiding rolling back the Gaia Servers completely. Unfortunatly, the plan sort of backfired and didnt work out how they had planned. As in all things, nothing ever works how it should the first time. ^^; The admins and staff are currently working their hardest to remedy any further issues and inventory problems. Many users are recieving scam PMs from users trying to steal their password, like this one:
From PM: Hey! i Found an awsome glitch that doubles all your items and gold wana try it?all i need is your pass and you can change it right after so i dont know it any more so i cant get anything off of it or anything. P.S. Don't Worrie you can trust me i don't scam NEVER give out your password. These cheats are NEVER true! (And if they were you could be banned for abusing them..) Also, there are some users sending AIM messages to others claiming to be moderators, offering similar cheats requiring your username and password. These are also scams. We will never instant message you or contact you offering to let you abuse a glitch, a cheat, or get free items you are not entitled to, and we will never ever ever ask you for your passwords. |

archived Unable to Get Past ToS Screen question Update: A Few people still seem to be having this problem. Please PM Dri, Jakobo or darknrgy about this if you are expierencing this. (Or have someone PM for you) Some users are currently in an endless loop on the Terms of Service Screen. Even after agreeing to the ToS, and accepting, they are still sent to the ToS page on redirect. If you are indeed one of these users, please PM darknrgy or Jakobo (if you feel better PMing a mod). Set your subject to "Unable to Log in Past ToS" so that your PM doesn't get lost in the inbox. (Also, please...only send 1 PM... sweatdrop ) |

updates Profile Page(s) Unable to be Opened Sept 18: Fixed by devloper Currently, attempting to access a user's profile (including your own) generates an error. The cause of this is currently unknown. However, until it is fixed, several users will be unable to view profiles or the profiles of other users on Gaia. |
