Updated Workaround

House Saving Jan 4
Users are unable to save changes to their houses and get this error:

A user-suggested workaround:
"For housing people need to empty their suitcase completely, save, and then they can upload their house. By trial and error they can find the problem. Most likely it's a floor item or a wall tile. I've heard the basic wooden chair is glitchy and various other wall tiles."

A full workaround is now available here.

Users experiencing this problem may use the item ID numbers to pinpoint which item is causing the error. A list of know housing item ID's is available within the workaround thread, along with instructions for determining the ID of an item and matching it to the error. Once the problematic item is identified, remove it from your suitcase and proceed to save your house.

Link to Buy Trading Pass Glitchy Some users are reporting that due to Meredith's speech bubbles, they cannot get past her words to buy a trading pass. Clicking on the link, which usually makes it go away, only serves to make the speech bubble light up again.

Flash Games Causing Typing Issues
Some users are noticing that when they try to type in Fishing and Casinos, their computers will not let them input more than one letter at a time. Thus, if they try to write the word "hi" they can only write one letter at a time, "h" or "i".

Users with this glitch are asked to clear their cache, close out of the game, then come back to the game. That should clear up the problem.

Gaia Towns Not Loading January 17th
For the past few days a large portion of our users have had serious difficulties getting onto towns. Users report that attempting to get in by clicking a square leads to the area apparently loading, then suddenly loading the trainstation instead. We are aware of this issue and it is being attended to.

Avatar Saving is down January 21st
The avatar saving function has been down all day -- anyone trying to save their avatar will receive the message "Database Error: Unable to save avatar images" There is no successful workaround at this time, and this issue is affecting all users.
This is a known problem and is currently being worked on, please be patient.

Bank trading glitch: Error Taking Item out of Your Inventory Feb 11
This is an older issue. Apologies in the delay for reporting it. Gaian users seem to be unable to trade the last item out of their inventory into another account. When they try, the "Error Taking Item out of Your Inventory" message appears.

Workaround:While there is no way around this at current time, buying an inexpensive item and leaving it in your inventory as a placeholder will allow you to get whatever item you've trapped in your inventory out and to send it off to other users. Alternately, using the gift system to gift the final item to whichever use you plan to send it to may work as well.

Members' avatar images are currently glitching sporadically. Their normal avatars are replaced with other members' avatars, malformed versions of their current avatar, or Gaia Houses. Resaving your avatar may fix this problem, but there is no known solution at this time. Please be patient while this item is being attended.

Seeing another user's avatar instead of your own while posting or surfing the site does not mean you have been hacked. Please do not file Hacking Reports if you are experiencing this glitch.

Glitches Galore Feb 23
Organizer, suitcase, storage are very glitchy, best if not used as some users appear to have lost items while saving. Feb 2006 letters cannot be traded. The Faktori (furniture store) is down as well. And users are not able to delete PMs at the moment either. The robots on Towns are not accepting any bugs/trash. Finally rare event boxes/trunks cannot be opened.

There are no workarounds for these issues at the moment, please be patient.

EDIT: Delete Message Workaround.
Private messages may be deleted one at a time by clicking the subject line, scrolling to the bottom of the PM, and hitting the button. This will only delete the private message you are viewing at the time.
