Some users are reporting issues with pm's that are not permitting them to recieve or open pm's but are allowing them to send them for what is now multiple days.

Trading Feb 1st
Many users are experiencing difficulty with adding items to their trades at the bank. Items either refuse to be added, or show up as a red X and the trade does not complete properly. • Avatar Deletion Broken Feb 5
  Avatar Deletion has been broken for several days now. Upon entering the password to delete an avatar, the user receives the following error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/admin/public_html/profile/inventory/delete.php on line 9 There is no fix for this.
  
  
• Poll gold and mstransaction Error messages Feb 5
  Everyone seems to be noticing that you no longer get gold for every single poll you vote in. Originally, there was a limit on how many polls you could earn ten gold for within a specific time limit. The limit on poll gold vanished when the 3 month long gold-earning glitch was fixed back in Oct. A limit on poll gold has now been re-instated. This is not an error.
  
  To clear up confusion many people seem to have about the 'mstransaction' error messages that sometimes crop up in the marketplace: darknrgy is one of Gaia's programmers, and mstransaction is an account created to take reports on marketplace errors. So if you get that error message, just do what it says to do.

  Feb 6 - This is fixed now.
  For the last couple of days, members have been unable to delete entries out of their journals. There is no workaround for this.

  Many users, especially those with underscores in their names, are having trouble logging in at the moment.
  
  Workaround: Users should be able to get around this difficulty by using their user ID instead of their avatar name to log in. How to find a User ID#

  Some users are getting an error that says, "Information Transaction lock found on vend table, please try again" when trying to buy or sell items in the marketplace. Thumbnail Errors Feb 9
Many people are reporting that their sealed letters or some other various items in their inventory are showing up with the image of a male tan peasants top instead of the correct image. The correct item name and description should still show up upon mouseover, even at the bank, or in the drop down list at the marketplace. This is being worked on.

Update Feb 10: While most users have been trading without losing items, we want to emphasize that it is still UNKNOWN what caused at least two people to lose their inventories -- therefore, you are using the bank at your own risk.

For the people who are ignoring the risk and using the bank anyways, there seem to be several other types of errors occurring. If you're getting an error message of some sort while trading, please post here: Trade Errors: Misc. (Post Here to Debug!)

Due to a database server failure (link), a large number of Gaia's features are down.

These include:
- Saving avatars
- Accessing PMs/Mail
- "Find your own posts"/"Find your latest topics"
- possibly others.

Currently, there are no known workarounds. The admins are working on them.
