This has actually been going on for a long time now. For many users, the icons on threads do not show when there have been new posts since their last login. The icon only seems to change to indicate new posts made after these users have logged in.
This also causes the 'new announcement' notice not to show up for the announcements forum if a new post has been made since they last logged in.
Bank glitches Jan 22
There is a glitch with the bank currently when trading with other members. If the trade is canceled, the items in the trade may not come back. There is no fix for this.
It is highly reccomended not to use the bank until this is fixed!

For weeks now, the Bank has not been accepting information on the first try. Buying a trading or vending pass may need to be attempted several times before the purchase goes through. Adding gold or items will take 2 or more tries for it to take for some members. The same with sending a trade, many members need to add their password more than once before the trade will get sent.
Starting a trade
When looking at a member's Profile, or if they are on your friend's list, clicking the
button will take you directly to the trade page with them on the first try.

Trading Feb 1st
Many users are experiencing difficulty with adding items to their trades at the bank. Items either refuse to be added, or show up as a red X and the trade does not complete properly. Marketplace: Transaction Locks Jan 30 - Updated Feb 1st
Some users are getting an error that says, "Information Transaction lock found on vend table, please try again" when trying to buy or sell items in the marketplace. If you get this error everytime you attempt to purchase an item, or everytime you attempt to add an item to your vend store, please send a PM to Kava and put 'Transaction Lock Error' as the subject of your PM.

The PM system is not working and working intermittently right now. Please be patient until the admins work it out. There is no work around right now.

When previewing an item in the store, it gives you a broken image. For now use the Gaia Avatar Simulator by Saikatsu

White Pages Jan 31
Starting earlier today, there have been reports of pages not loading. Only white, no text or images. There is no fix for this, but the Admins will look in to it as soon as they are able to!

Since sometime today, the site has been experiencing lag. There is no solution to this, but just be patient for pages to load.

Feb 1 - FIXED!
After starting a trade, trade may not be able to be clicked. Wait longer to try again. This may take a few days to work out.
Please do NOT use the bank.
Added: Users are getting an error message saying, "This trade had been confirmed by you. You can only edit or cancel this trade. Click here to view your trade with XXX" After clicking, it takes them to a blank page and the trade does not complete.

All of yesterday's effort had been spent to fix the bank. The gold glitch, and the problem with trade no able to be completed should be fixed now. I'll continue to monitor and see if things are working properly.
