New scam! "Gaia bot"
There is someone going around on AIM, asking members if they want the down load to a "Gaia bot". Do not accept this! Reminder that Botting is not allowed on Gaia - all accounts that are botting will be banned.

New Issues

• GGN Guilds
  Guilds are not allowing new members to join, nor allowing members to create a new guild. The following message may show when trying to ad new members:
  "This user no longer has enough gold and has been removed from your Request to Join list."
  
  There is no fix for this.
  
  
• Archiving
  Many times a message will show after posting saying that the topic is being archived. The cause of this is not known, however it is a false message. Chances are the topic is not being archived. Going back to the main forum, you will be able to find the thread again.

Marketplace is turned off (Nov 20)
There have been many reports of items going missing from the Marketplace. Until it can be fixed, it has been turned off.

Art Arena
The Art Arena is currently DOWN. There is no word as to when it will be back up again. But if you go in and see a "Cannot Find Server: This page cannot be displayed" message, rest assured that everyone else is seeing it too.

question Not Gaining Gold question
Since mid July, several users have reported they have just outright stopped gaining gold from posting and voting in polls. This problem seems to be affecting a small number of users and is 100% random. Gold is still obtained through clicking around the site and clicking the sponsor links on the home page. This glitch seems to be account linked rather than computer linked or random, since some users were never affected by it, some have two accounts and one earns gold while the other doesn't, and those who have this problem have it consistently... logging in and out, etc.. doesn't help it.

Around the middle of August, several other gold earning glitches popped up. These vary from earning no gold for anything at all, to earning gold for lurking, but nothing else (including the sponsor banners..), getting gold only on certain servers, and several other variations. Most users are able to change servers, log out and in again, clear their internet cache, etc.. and have these problem go away. They seems to pop up randomly and intermittently.

There is no fix for the first, and no sure-fire fix for the second. We just need to wait it out until this is fixed.

• Unable to post (Dec 8 )
  Some users are making post dated Fri 10th Dec, even if it's just 8th Dec today. This have caused the users to be unable to post. Please contact an online moderator with a link to your post that is dated 10th Dec to have it removed to fix this problem.
  
  
• Trade Icon not showing (Dec 8 )
  A few days ago, the trade icon stopped showing up for all trades. There is no fix for this. Please use PM's to communicate to others when you want to trade.
