Friendslist not working July 6th
Attempting to either add or remove someone to/from the friendslist is not currently working. The confirmation page will show up as blank, as if nothing was seleted.
False Ban Messages June 20th
Attempting to add a comment to a profile and view all comments is glitched. Users doing either of these recieve messages that they are logged out, and further messages that they are banned. These are both false! Surf back a page or two or click 'community' to go back to the site.
Towns is DOWN June 12th
At current time no users appear to be able to access Gaia Towns. The train station will load properly however, any attempt to go into a specific area of towns after that results in a load bar which does not load completely, regardless of how long users wait. This glitch is currently being looked into.
Avatar recreation down June 8th
You can delete your character, but recreating it cannot be done at the moment. You will be left with the default shadow avatar. There's no workaround for this yet.
Funky ban e-mails May 18th
Banned users are receiving e-mails that does not give them the ban reason but some HTML codes only. The bug has been reported to the developers and will be corrected as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, if you have been banned and have no clue why you were banned, please contact any online moderator to inquire about your ban. All moderators (purple, teal or green) can inform you why you have been banned.

Many, many glitches May 12
Gaia has been suffering a lot of glitches, including those messing up coding in posts, making random red x's, and giving errors about ban information. Please don't be alarmed, you haven't been banned and everything will be fixed in good time.

Donation Letter Issues May 03
Many users are reporting having received May donation letters which seem to have come as a result of donations made in March. While staff is looking into this and trying to work it out, please be advised that it's best to not move, sell, or open any letters you may have received in error. Profiles Up May 02
Profiles are down again for everyone, giving the message 'Extended user profiles are currently down for maintenance. Please check back later.' They'll be back as soon as possible.
EDIT: Profiles have returned after a short downtime.
Journals and Profiles Down April28
Profiles and Journals are down again for everyone, giving error messages such as 'Error: You have not yet created a journal.' They'll be back as soon as possible.
Marketplace very glitchy, use at your own risk April 27
Trasactions are not being completed automatically, if you've won a bid and didn't receive item, most likely seller has to manually accept your offer. There's also reports of transactions not being recorded on your store log.
Please wait till these matters are looked into.
PM System back up April 21
PM's have returned to the site, however due to some glitches in the old system, some users may see some very old pm's return to their inbox that they thought were either deleted or saved. This is a one-time phenomenon accosciated with the changeover to a new pm system and should not happen again. No new messages were lost due to restoration of older pm's. PM System down to install brand new one April 20
PM's have been down since about 12:50pm or so on the 20th. The originally planned short downtime to upgrade the system has had some unexpected hiccups. Please check the announcement here:

Glitchy PM System April 17
The PM System has been randomly going down for short intervals of time all day. Common errors include
Could not insert Private Message metadata into database. There is no known workaround at the moment, but this item is being operated on, please be patient.
Update, 3:35pm, April 18: Private messages are up again now.
Blackjack not awarding tickets March 15
After playing through all three NPC characters (Russell, Jinx, CardBot) or when you cash out, tickets are not awarded though you spent the tokens to play. No resolution has been found at this time.
Admins and developers have been alerted to the problem. Please be patient.
Glitches Galore Feb 23
Organizer, suitcase, storage are very glitchy, best if not used as some users appear to have lost items while saving. Feb 2006 letters cannot be traded. The Faktori (furniture store) is down as well. And users are not able to delete PMs at the moment either. The robots on Towns are not accepting any bugs/trash. Finally rare event boxes/trunks cannot be opened.
There are no workarounds for these issues at the moment, please be patient.

Private messages may be deleted one at a time by clicking the subject line, scrolling to the bottom of the PM, and hitting the 
button. This will only delete the private message you are viewing at the time.
Glitchy Avatar Images Feb 18
Members' avatar images are currently glitching sporadically. Their normal avatars are replaced with other members' avatars, malformed versions of their current avatar, or Gaia Houses. Resaving your avatar may fix this problem, but there is no known solution at this time. Please be patient while this item is being attended.
Seeing another user's avatar instead of your own while posting or surfing the site does
not mean you have been hacked.
Please do not file Hacking Reports if you are experiencing this glitch.
Gaia Towns Not Loading January 17th
For the past few days a large portion of our users have had serious difficulties getting onto towns. Users report that attempting to get in by clicking a square leads to the area apparently loading, then suddenly loading the trainstation instead. We are aware of this issue and it is being attended to.

Random logouts and login troubles Dec 28
Users are being logged out at random, despite having correct cookies settings and checking "Remember Me" when logging in. Logging back in also poses a problem, and redirects most users to another blank login page. The cause is unknown, and there are no workarounds at this time.
Password Recovery Broken Oct 28
There have been many reports that using your security questions to reset your pasword does not currently work. After answering the security questions, an error message is received. The developers are aware of the problem. Please be patient until they are able to fix it.
