i couldn't find this in the exchange rules guidlines etc but what price does everyone go by when selling in the exchange, because i would assume if the marketplace is selling several items you'll want to sell yours cheaper than those but then there's inflation so i think people go by the average buy price but that could be 90% lower than what everyone is selling it in the MP for...yeah if someone could please explain that to me i would be greatful thankyou! whee

There are no rules for the pricing, like there is no obligation to sell or buy, if OP finds a seller and they agree to the price then they make a deal, yes users do use the MP as a reference, and it is unlikely that some one would sell a item higher priced then the MP there are no rules against this.
