Some good standards are bands like the dead kennedies and the addicts. I am personally a big fan of X and of The Cramps but that's me.

Also the dickies are just... They're just great.

It'd help to know what kind of punk you're into. Political, hardcore, pop "punk", british, oi!.
I'd recommend Gorilla Biscuits - Start Today ( Hardcore ), Propagandhi! - How to clean Everything ( Political ) ). If you're into the pop punk, I'd say to give NOFX or the Vandals a listen, as they stay more true to punk roots. Adolescents (Self Titled) is one of my favorites. Give this a reply with what you like, and I can suggest some more based of that.

EDIT: Also, check out Leftover Crack.
