I cant do lineart worth shiz.. x3

Aw, just keep practicing and the more steady and used to your hand gets at drawing linearts, the better. D: And if it makes you feel any better it sometimes takes me hours to do a lineart. @.@'

I do practice, I just cant figure which pens to use at the right time, on other things I can do it fine but most of the time I just use different sizes for different lines and not sharpen them :p

Oh....I usually just use the same small fine point pen and make the lines thicker as needed. x3;; Wastes a lot of ink though but that's my method so far. Aw, I see. I try and use the same line size if I do my lineart digitally unless I'm working on small details. Usually though I do most all my linearts traditionally and upload it onto a program to color it. ^^ Its easier for me.

Yeah thats what I do usually too! I upload it onto photoshop and color it and thicken the lineart

Yeah! 8D I don't have a photoshop, but I use a free program called Paint.net that works pretty well. I use some effect on there and it gives my lineart a nice dark color and blurs the edges. x3

The photoshop I have came with my tablet so I just use that :3

Aw, lucky! D: I've been hoping to get a tablet for the past two years now. x3 Is the brand you have good? Or would you recommend any kinds?

Wacom seems to be the standard. My friend got a good 4x6 "Bamboo" model Wacom tablet recently for under $80 or $90. And he's been quite infatuated with it. XD

>_> I don't actually know any other brands...

Wacoms are pretty good. I've got an older one that I use from time to time, and my only beef with it is that the drawing space is like, epic tiny. The newer ones are bigger though, from what I've seen.

Yeah, same here. Mines quite possibly going on five years old now. Most everything about it is relatively small which is both good and bad. It's not always easy to work on such a small surface, but on the other hand, it's the most portable tablet I've seen yet.

I beat ToS And I LOVE IT. Definitely one of my top favorites. Crazy a** twist.

Now I'm playing my second run through

@Kiedera: Mine's probably about the same age.. I think my mum originally bought it when she went back to college a couple years ago, but never actually managed to figure out how to work it. It's actually really big for having such a small drawing surface though : 'bout six or seven inches across the bottom, while the drawing part is maaaybe four across. And the pen's really fat.

What I really want is one of the laptops that you can draw on directly. That would be awesome <3

@BalmungX: Shhhhhh, don't telll meeeeee what haappneennnsssss~ I had to give back the copy I was borrowing from a friend before I got a chance to finish ;o;

Ahhh! A cintiq! Well, that's just a draw on monitor rather than a whole computer, but they're still so sexy <3

Ah, mine's an 8inch square. hmm... maybe I just havn't seen newer small models lately, but I from the sound of it, this rough size seems about average. My friend's new Bamboo is 4x6 effective, but the whole tablet itself is 7x10inches.

I have that tablet. It's pretty good, I just haven't done much with it yet, because college sucks. >:l

I updated finally!! Yay!!! My college has Deviant banned (and yeah, its most likely for the "artistic n***s" wink
ANYWAYS! I'm doing an art give away to people that comment my journal! I have 9 spots open so far!

We have a touch screen desktop at my house. It kinda.. scares me, but it's so coooooollllll~ *is totally afraid of breaking it since it's not mine* I can't draw on it though 'cause it's waaay too vertical for me, and there's no way I can fit it in my lap ;3;

My tablet is muuuuch smaller than the Bamboo then o3o 4x6? I need to get me one of those. Half of what I draw is about that size.

Yeah actually the tablet I have is pretty good, its a good size too, like 15"x11" so its got a LOT of space to use, but it has an option to use a smaller drawing area if you prefer, I bought it on overstock.com for like $40 bucks so it was a pretty awesome deal
