Which Idea do you think is more interesting? Choice #1

Choice 1

The old mans' son is an experiment/creation he made in an attempt to have a son of his own. The son was create by some sort of sorcery/ alchemy that made them soul bound together. It fused the father's soul to his creation so it can live. If the father dies, the boy gains his soul and spirit and he lives inside of the boy as a split personality. On the other hand if the boy dies the father either gets parrollized in some way or his soul gets sucked out of him.[[the boy is only 14]] The boy has abilities to absorb information, weather from someone speaking in, or through a bond or connection to someone.

Choice 2

The old mans' son is an experiment/creation he made is an attempt to recreate his dead son. His 14 year old son died 3 years before his reincarnation. His father used metal working to structure his bones, used leathery materials to replace any flesh that has gone. The father made him turn alive by electricity or some sort of alchemy. The boy gains the ability of feeling barley any pain to no pain at all, but the boy still has limitations, he don't know his limitations. His strength is stronger then a regular human, it went up by 5xs the strength as a professional body builder could lift.
