these are pretty good. i really like how you use some mundane abjects that people normally would overlook and make those your subjects. very interesting smile

one thing you should work on is you composition, try not to put your subject in the dead center of your photo, putting it off center adds more interest and balances the photo better.

definitely keep it up! these are very nice!!! mrgreen

oh ok ^_^. I like taking pictures of the simple things. I also like photographs that make you wonder. "What is it?"

Tell me what photos are good and what you like about them. (dont be afraid to leave comments on pictures you didn't like and why. You can comment on their flickr if you want.)
Is...this...your work?

no... just want to know cuz this annoying girl thinks her photographs are the most amazing thing on the planet...
Oh.
Okay, because they're really nothing special.

oh ok. I want to go off topic for just a bit! I hate that her "friends" tell praise and back her up on everything... its so sad. In the darkroom they were like "Ava, who else has amazing pictures besides you?" Ava: "No one else."

Wow.
Anyone who is too full of themselves is not going to go very far in life.

You're a good sport for taking criticisms. =)

And your HDR photo turned out well. Nice clouds and details on the buildings.

New Photos. (I used Photomatix for the new HDRs)

Your new HDRs are alright.
You still need compositional work though.

Well, yes, those are elements of composition.
Some of your compositions are still quite random. They're crooked for no apparent reason and the framing seems very "snapshot".

what would make it NOT look like a snapshot?

Can I use this??

Yes, those are very good guides.

Some of your photos lack a certain purpose to their composition.
Looking at your photo "What Subject?":

I know it was purposeful to make the foreground objects blurry and the background not blurry. But this is only an example of a bad photo. The background itself is not interesting. In fact, it's crooked.
The blurry objects are covering a whole 3/4 of the frame, leaving the background anchored in the top left corner.
Why show 3/4 of the jar on the right, while covering the wooden chair slightly? Why have the pearls cover the bottom half of the photo with no compliment to the background?

Just some things to think about.

have to admit it was random xD
