You can get very abstract with photography, but maybe not exactly in the way you described it.

If you can learn by imitation, go for it.
Other people might learn from different methods.

But, to be honest, when I was little I learned to draw by tracing anime drawings and then copying, and then eventually taking all the techniques I learned to draw my own characters.

So...whatever works for you.

I got my roll of film developed some of them look really good. I'm going to develop them with the enlarger and contact paper. And then scan it on Thursday when its dry.

the pictures were taken like a week and a half ago... btw. I used an SRL camera.

You should definatley work on your compisition and lighting. I suggest you look at a few tutorials on such things. Most of the photographs just look like you took a disposable camera and snapped a quick photo.

You should also work on the positioning of the subject of your photographs. It can give your images a nice edge that seperates them from the rest.

you're subjects are fantastic and you did a good job at angular shots.. heart heart

however, i have to agree with everybody else. you need work on the lighting because they are a tad bit too dark...If you could lighten them bytaking advantage of the weather and light or by editing them using photoshop or picasa, more could appreciate your art..!

is it all pictures with bad lighting or is it specific ones? if its specific i could lighten them up a bit over the weekend...
