I really like Shadow Stick and Empty Hall. If you're considering advancing your photography, I'd advise signing up for Flickr.

Honestly?
You need to work on composition and lighting.

Your whites are overexposed and your compositions are either crooked, off, or just not complementary to the subject.

They look more like snap shots to me. Like what xen0m0rph said work on composition and lighting.

I don't know what you're talking about @_@. Ive only been in photography for a week and half... And which pictures? On Flickr everything after "Tree" is done with a professional camera and done recently. And before that was done about 11 months ago. and I was just taking pictures for the heck of it xD

I am using a Fuji FinePix S7000. How do I get the right light and such? I'm going to fool around with the composition for now, but I know what it is xD I did it for my media class. Like what things do I turn and such. I am used to using cameras that are old and use photographic film (developing is like the best part btw)... Please help...
You don't know what we're talking about?

Okay...let's talk about your Flickr.
- Traditional Mother - It looks like we're looking through a fog. The colors are faded.
- Stool Orange - The light shining through the window is too intense. That causes your colors to be washed out, and the window to be an eyesore.
- Tree - look at the sky. It's white. That means it's overexposed. Plus, the building in the background is very faded.
- Crazy Man Shooting Water - Again, your colors are faded, like you took this picture on a foggy day. Even still, foggy days can come out with stronger accents.

You need to play with your exposure settings and bracket. Bracketing is when you take pictures of the same scene, but with different shutter speeds so you can be assured you have at least ONE photo with good lighting.

You also need to keep your hands steady or use a tripod. Some of your photos are blurry and crooked.

As for composition, study the rule of thirds. It's a very basic compositional rule. Study informal balance, formal balance, harmony, unity, etc.
Your compositions need work.

tree and before that was done with a non-professional camera. it was taken with a COolpix camera. I didn't know having special light like that in Stool Orange was a bad thing. Also Tree it was completely white...Traditional Mother I wanted it like that, it's meant to give the impression of being old.
Nice really nice !
I lot of them are way too dark. And some are a bit too bright. The ones where you got it right are good though. I would try experementing with photoshop if I were you.

And if you dont have it/can't afford it, just download the trial version.
