This thread is for myself, my wonderful partner, and my very close friends. Please do not post here unless I've invited you or said you could, specifically, thank you.

...::Glass Slippers and Chandeliers::...
Walking through the many floors of the skyscraper, you find room after room of people dancing the night away. One floor, however, has a door, closed, with a sign on the handle saying "Reserved". You check the number of the floor you're on and realize it's the right one, so you knock, but the door seems to simply open for you.
As you walk in, you are greeted by hushed candles in chandeliers 'round the room, casting a faint heavenly glow on the marble floor. The columns are hung with draped satins of all shades of purple, with filigree accents in silver and black. The chandeliers are covered in crystals of clear and violet appearance, causing the sparkles in the room to take on different colors now and then. There are no people around, that you can see, though voices can be heard faintly, and a cool breeze blows in from an open french door across the room. It looks to lead to a large balcony.
The balcony is a half-round platform suspended at the side of the building, with a few stone benches and roses growing and twining around the openly carved stone. Wall sconces adorn the outer wall and light the area, their faint glow tinted a bluish violet hue, and casting dancing shadows on the balcony.
Inside the ballroom itself are suits of armor spaced along the walls, and a table of various light refreshments, to include danish butter cookies, lady fingers, and a fruit bowl, accompanied by a glass fountain of sparkling punch.
