I like your avi, but it doesn't scream "prom" if that's what you're looking for. Maybe add more girly-type accessories (or suit-like items if you want to dress as a male). Right now it looks more like a mer-shark than someone dressed up for prom.

It's the top. The rest could be very polished, but your top just kind of screams "Daisy Duke"... Prom is about glitz and glamour, so set aside the current top and go with something... glittery. smile Other than that... you look very mysterious. I like it.
