not much sadly vampire forums go rather slowly, so do most of the guilds for my favorite bands its sad really

that's a pity... not enough of us left with that blasted cure going around. At least there's plenty of food... *grins wickedly*

Well i actually think its better this way. If the skin was just something you could buy in the shops people would buy it purely because it looks cool, and no truly share the passion for the strength and elegance of vampires we all share :] plus its partly a way to distiguish how long one has been on gaia (it marks a certain time, although i(and im sure many of you aswell) have been on gaia more than a year before the halloween event last year)

I've been on long enough to have been a zombie, but that skin was ugly (and I was out of town for the event)

The zombie event was a disaster. Everyone that was a higher rank kept ignoring the lower ones. I got close to the final skin, but people kept freaking out.

Anne Rice has written 12 vampire books- 11 following a consistent series. The series itself entirely intertwines itself and all interconnects even though the main character is Lestat himself. smile It's all very, very fascinating to analyze, and you always have to reread all the books to catch all the new little things. People have written their entire theses on her books.
