introduction
Well, the concept is fairly simple. Everyone has a good time while artists choose who they want to give free art to. Some artists have lists, others go by whoever they feel like drawing, while others will only do trades.
If you're an artist, lend a hand, give out a few free works. We'll let you advertise if you do.
Non-artists, hang around, have a blast smile
The point of this thread is friendliness and kindness, not "omg free art". People who only post requesting art, instead of commenting or generally engaging the thread, will most likely be ignored.
Oh, and we do lots of casual RP here. Nothing like an epic adventure, just everyday stuff.
Before I launch into the rules, I want it to be known that I will report anyone who breaks the rules consistently to the mods. I have already done so numerous times and I'm not afraid to do it again

There are a few rules we'd like posters to follow, both artists and non alike.
o1. First of all, please be respectful. If someone draws you a piece of art, don't turn around and critique it. Its free, don't be a b***h.
o2. Use proper manners. "Draw me art" or "choose me" won't get you a piece of art. Using "please" and "thank you" will get you plenty. Just look at the regulars
o3. If you don't make an artists list, don't get angry. They have a list for a reason, and if they didn't choose you, be patient.
o4. Simplicity. If you want to get drawn, keep it simple. A good rule of thumb is being able to see the hair and most of the face. Don't complain if someone refuses to draw you because they don't like how you look, or feel they can't handle it. They're doing this for free.
o5. Advertising. Please don't advertise other threads unless you have approval, and you may only advertise your store (if you're an artist) if you are actively contributing to this thread. Giving away one piece of art will not qualify you for this.
o6. Engage the thread. Make conversation. Have fun, get to know people. Doing this will make it far more likely that you get a piece of art, requested or not.
o7. Comment on others work. By letting someone know that you liked what they did, you're setting yourself up to get a piece of art. A simple "I love how you did that, could you maybe try my avatar?" will work wonders in most cases. Don't forget your pleases and thank yous if you're unsure.
o8. Flaming. I shouldn't have to mention it, but its a no no. Flamers will have their posts reported to a mod.
o9. Cybering. Keep it in your e-pants, thank you smile
o10. Do try not to stretch the screen with your images. Good size is 500x500
o11. Please don't complain about not being noticed/ignored. This is a rapidly moving thread, and your post might not have been seen, and its really annoying when people complain > neutral . If you want people to notice you, talk to them instead of making general posts.
o12. NO BUMPING. Its not necessary and we're not seeking lots of attention.
o13. If you don't RP, leave it be. Don't try to pick apart other people's fun D:<
o14. No DRAMA. Attempting to start something with another member of AU is now grounds for automatic banning.
