![]() No entry fee. ● No pre-mades allowed. ● ONE entry per person. ● NO cheating, lying and/or stealing. ● (For the application) The [Word] is Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia ● Do not change the profile during voting/judging or your entry is disqualified. ● If you have read & understand these rules and are ready to enter, scroll to the next post ● and make sure your profile meets the specific qualifications for the round you want to enter. Fill out the application for the round, then post it here in the thread. Have fun!! ●![]()
When posting an application: The profile url provided by the applicant must be the same as the profile url accessible by clicking the "profile" icon in the bar underneath the applicant's avatar. For example, if you want to enter the contest with a mule account, the mule account must post the application so that the url's match. It is much easier to authenticate a profile this way. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE. --However, this is subject to change for future rounds. --I will graciously accept DONATIONS toward the Prize Fund. PLEASE, IF YOU ARE A CONTESTANT AND I PM YOU, TRY TO GET BACK TO ME ASAP! SUBSCRIBE TO THE THREAD SO YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY CHANGES!** PRE-MADE PROFILES ARE NOT ALLOWED. FOR THOSE WHO NEED A DEFINITION OF "HANDMADE": This means that your profile is your own creation. The layout may be the standard profile layout, (the way the sections are arranged/positioned), if allowed, but all the graphics must be unique to your profile! ++++If you have copied and pasted a code you got from tektek.org (and/or any other site that offers pre-made profiles), then the profile is NOT hand-made, even if you add a minor change; such as a different cursor or the color palette of the graphics. Also, you may not enter a custom profile that someone else made FOR you because it was not made by you. Only ONE profile entry per person, and you may enter only ONE contest at a time. The entry must be something you made for yourself and no one else. This also applies to profiles made for tektek.org or other free profile sites: if your profile is available for free use by anyone, it is not eligible to be entered in the contest. ++++ENTERING WITH MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT IS CHEATING. Cheating and/or lying is not appreciated. Theft is NOT at ALL tolerated either! evil For this current round; the application's [Word] is Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia ++++You must put in the word for the [Word] portion of the application in white colored text; in order for your entry to be accepted fully. It's just a little measure on if you've read these rules. ![]() The profile layout/theme cannot be changed during the days of voting/judging. The profile should be ready to be judged the moment the application is submitted and shouldn't be changed after the application is submitted/accepted, without approval. If you have a problem with leaving your profile the same for such a long period of time, please put the profile you wish to enter on a mule account. If you choose to do this, you will have to log into your mule account to submit the application, and at times to reply to CPC correspondence PMs or confirm trades. ![]() To become a judge, just ask me, either here in the thread or via PM. ^^ ● I reserve the right to deny your request to be a judge. ● ● Before asking to be one, please make sure ● ● you've read and understand ALL of the rules. ● ● To be a judge, you must be willing to take your time to give your honest, ● unbiased opinion about ALL profiles in the current round.● ● The ballot: Judges will use this questionnaire to ● give their opinion on the profiles currently in the round. ● ● They contain approximately 15 questions.● ● Ballots MUST be COMPLETE and be received ON TIME. ● There are only 3 paid judge slots for each round. ● You must of course be available to judge during the time allotted for judging. ● You can NOT be entered in the same round you are judging. ● ![]() FOR THE JUDGES:
You may NOT be a PAID judge for more than one round at a time. However, you MAY be an UNPAID judge for multiple (or when it comes to teams). Your user name will be listed in the "JUDGES" section if your input is used. When ballots are posted, you'll be identified by a letter. Once you are accepted as a judge, you will be assigned a LETTER to identify you. (If you haven't received a PM letting you know what your letter is, please be patient, you'll receive it soon.) If you choose to make your identity known, that is up to you, but odds are I won't change your letter. You MUST use the ballot in order for your response to be counted. Please keep in mind that your ballots will be made public so that the contestants will have some suggestions on how to improve their profiles. You do not have to judge all the rounds if you don't want to. And if YOU decide that you have at any time changed your mind about judging, please be courteous and let me know as soon as possible. I may decide I don't want or need you to judge a particular round. After all, I may or may not choose to use any or all of your opinions. MY say is the FINAL say in most cases. I will make the final decision as to who wins what prize. Judges are reminded that there is currently NO POINT SYSTEM when it comes to judging and rating the entries, and that they should refrain from giving them a rating of 10; unless in their opinion the profile is truly PERFECT.
