No, there is no difference. They just provide you more custom sections in the end.

@On Time :: Small fonts. If you looked at the theme you would of figured out which
font I used. XD

This is an awesome guide. Thanks for making it. I just wish I was talented enough to make profiles. Maybe some day when I'm completely free for many hours, I'll just sit my butt down and use your guide.

Yeah I'm still smiling...But {inside} I'm dying♥--«

You're welcome! I absolutely think everyone is capable of making profiles if they set their mind to it. :3 LOLOLOL, yah, it'll definitely take a chunk of your time just to figure it out, but once you got the basics down it'll be wayyyy.... easier.

@Lara the Bunny :: My brain isn't anything special. xD *scratches*

@P h u n k e d :: I'm glad everything came across easily. If you have any questions in the future, don't mind asking in this thread. I'm pretty sure I will get to you with the best of my ability. 3nodding

I know some coding and was just looking around to refresh my memory on Gaia specific codes.

Wow!

I must say I am very impressed with the table of contents graphic you made. I do a bit of art critique as a Grad student. Your design is VERY professional. The design was very visually appealing artistically AND did not detract they viewer from being able to locate what they needed to. And your guide in general is very well organized. Bravo!

um if you look at my profile in EI you see that the wish ist overflows.. how do i fix that?
sad
edit; it does that all the time isee...
mad

Okay, thanks lil_neko. I have one question.. Could you take a quick peek at my profile please? (Yeah its messed up cause.. im still trying to do everything. aha. So anyway, How do get that MYV ROCKS background into the center? Because Ive seen people make background where they use their own created layout as the background and just place certain sections where it fits and hide sections they dont want.
Im aiming for the same thing, but im wondering how to get that profile background in the center of the page,
Thanks! If you get what i mean xx

Thank you for your compliment. I'm super... very... flattered because I tried to make this appealing as possible. : ) I thought it would make more sense if all the steps listed were color coded. xD

THANKYOUUU! ; _ ; <3

@Ben Pond :: To be honest, I see nothing wrong with your profile (regarding your wishlist). Are you using IE? D :

@P h u n k e d :: Just make sure you are on custom not on blocks. : )
I know what you are talking about. Okay, first, you got it correct that you placed your
background in the #content. You DID center it where it originally is which was originally
centered to begin with.

To make your content center (where it holds the background), you have to move the whole site (#site) and use margins to make it center.

So, it would be like this:

/* CENTERS THE OVERALL SITE */
#site {margin-right:auto;margin-left:auto;}

/*OMIT THE HOUSE*/
#extendedProfileBody #header h1 {display:none;}

/*CONTENT*/
#content
{background: transparent url(http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w98/Phunkkin/profiles/GaiaOnlinemiyaviprofilecopy.jpg)
no-repeat;
border: none;
width: 813px;
height: 695px;}

What you had earlier with the positioning is also correct, but it's much easier
if you use the #site and adjust the margins. : )

@lumnata :: Thank you so much! No wonder there are more people viewing it. xDDD ;;

In your sample profile code, you're missing a semi-colon under the header image section which causes the header to stay the same, and the border to not be removed.

#extendedProfileBody #header h1 {background-image:url('http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm152/visualearner/lolIMGAY.jpg');border-right:none;height:250px;width:760px;}

By the by, this is a superb guide, and I'm definitely going to be looking back at it for reference.

Thanks for this.
I hadn't done coding in a while and your guide helped me fixed the little problems in my theme. smile
