Question 1 - What is the most innovative profile you have seen recently?
Other than the gallery profile, there was another I remember. It was set out like a computer and you would click start to view thinks like aqauarium and click on icons for a little pop up of information to come. I think it was done in V2 as well. VERY impressive!
Question 2 - What's your opinion in visitor counters?
It doesn't really bother me. People can easily be sad and keep refreshing their page lol. whee I doubt I'd put one up x) Unless you have a stalker and would like to know how many times that person stalks you eek ... then again you can't guarentee it'd be them. Oh and there'd be people who'd refresh and refresh just for fun too. So it's not as accurate as people would think.

Questions:
1 - Do you think random icons splurted on the profile makes it look attractive? Explain your reasons >: )
2 - How long do you think a person should take to make their profile? *Should they quickly rush through it and add anything or take their time and do things properly even though it could take forever*
3 - What's the best profile them you've come across? *example - a movie or whatever*

That's probably KairuByte's profile that you're thinking of. I have yet to figure out how it works.

1. No, never; and it's because everything's usually skewed and resized, which is also unattractive.
2. Well, I'd base this on time restraint. I say the shortest time would be an hour (for one decent/good profile) and the longest would be 2 weeks. That's just me though.
3. Aside from Kairu's, I'd say Radiocarbon's and StraightAce's (spelling on name please? :$ )

The forumstatus bar was on Old School profiles for about two days, then everyone bitched and complained and freaked out and they took it off. There's no way to add something to a profile with CSS that isn't a feature, so no. ;3;

I believe the .user_info_popup USED to be the dropdowns in V2 for friends avatars and the user's own info, but is now null and void since it was replaced by .forum_userstatus, .statuslinks, and .dropBox classes?

I have patches in my JOURNAL, and link on my profile. I think keeping a cluster of patches on the profile itself messes too much with the color scheme. ;3; Unless you're awesome and make it look good like a few people can.

I looked it up because it's new to me. D:
But in my own words, they're like filters.
Sooo, does this mean that it'll work for IE and other browsers.
So the purpose they'd serve is so it'll work for every browser rather than just one specific browser.

I think #details #stats, and the best software for creating profiles... that depends.

I've seen profilers that use PS or GIMP but have unclean coding (not-listing any names, I don't remember the name anyway)

And I've seen profilers that have supah clean coding but need to work more on graphics. (Probably where I fall. XD)

Image-wise, I'd say that Paint.NET and GIMP are the best to use since they're free and open sourcey. PS too, but I don't want to get it illegally. sweatdrop

Coding wise, it's web developer for the win. Always.

For the next person-
Are there more Old School guides than v2 guides, or the other way around?
