Question 1 - What would I need to do to remove that infamous gray line in Old School profiles?
Ummm, change the settings/attribute to border: 0px for the
● #extendedProfileBody
● #content

Question 2 - Describe the process you go through when making a profile. For instance I draw up an idea, make the graphics then code it. Any little coding quirks you have?

● Get a basic idea and think of a way I could turn it into a profile
● Spend time on photoshop experimenting different ways it can be shown sweatdrop whilst talking to people lol
● Start from scratch with the different idea's I've used and make it into one
● Check the profile looks right on the profile lol (like if the background is too small or horrible)
● Code it
● Edit some bits and bobs which I think can make it look better ^^,

Question 1 - What can IE explorer show than FF doesn't show?

Question 1 - A glow filter.
Question 2 - Put an image in a custom section that you want it to look like when hovered over. Then use this code:
#customsection img{opacity:0;(and then the IE equivilant)}
#customsection{background:url(what you want it to look like when not hovered over);}
#customsection img:hover{opacity:1;}

Is that right?

Question 1 - What are 3 rules for profile making?
Question 2 - What are some unsaid rules for profile making?
Question 3 - Who thinks this idea is actually quite good?

Yush for question 1
Question 2 I'm not sure if that's a way, but hey, it might be (not a big fan of the opacity code thing) xD O_o, I was thinking more along the lines of

#icustomsection{ background:transparent url(main picture link thing)}
#icustomsection a:hover{background: transparent url(hover over link thing)}

Question 1 - What are 3 rules for profile making?
*takes a wild guess'
● Keep the header of the profile at the top
● Don't change the Gaia logo
● No porny stuff?

Question 2 - What are some unsaid rules for profile making?
● No colour clashing
● Don't overcrowd the profile
● Flashing images are annoying - so don't add it!

Question 3 - Who thinks this idea is actually quite good?
● Ermm, what idea? sweatdrop

Questions
Write a 3 paragraph argument essay on what should and should not be added *jokes lmao*
● Name 3 sets of colours that would usually clash on a profile *example bright green and bright pink*
● Personal opinion - which is best V2 or O.S profile? Give reasons ^^,

Question 1 - Hmmm.....Yellow and purple, green and red, blue and orange.
Question 2 - V2. Custom sections are much easier to do. You can view your changes without having to save it. You don't have to clutter your code with #selector{display:none;}, you just click the x. More than one media panel. One of the only downsides is that your details is in the same panel as your avi and contact bar...

Question 1 - What programs do you use for profiles?
Question 2 - Personal opinion - which is best V2 or O.S profile? Give reasons.

Question 1 - What programs do you use for profiles?
Photoshop CS4 *I got most of my coding experience from Dreamweaver, but I don't use that to make profiles lmao - it wouldn't make sense*
Question 2 - Personal opinion - which is best V2 or O.S profile? Give reasons.
V2 because it's more simple. People may say people who use V2 are lazy, but not everyone has the best experience. V2 also allows to show badges which O.S don't, and I'd like to show of my badges >: ) However, some of the profiles I've seen in O.S do look REALLY nice, so I guess with V2, it limits you as to what you can do with certain codings such as changing the comments from one to the next *Not sure if you can do that on V2*

Questions
1 - [Opinion]Is it important to have music which suits the profile or music which suits the person?
2 - How would you change the font of a certain selector *lmao*

Question 1 - The profile should suit the person there fore the music suits the person if it suits the profile.
Question 2 - That's a bit of a hard one xd
"#selector{font:;}

Question 1 - How much user interactivity do you think is good?
Question 2 - Do you think that CSS should be expanded to include 3D settings (like a repeat-z -shakes fist-) so that the coder can change the "camera's" or screen's perspective?

Ermm, Link...
For question 2... wouldn't it be #selector{font-family: ___;}
twisted

Question 1 - How much user interactivity do you think is good?
Enough to make the users want more, but not too much for the users to think 'enough is enough!'

Question 2 - Do you think that CSS should be expanded to include 3D settings (like a repeat-z -shakes fist-) so that the coder can change the "camera's" or screen's perspective?
Oh of course! It'll allow all those CSS people to experiment more and get more experience. And if they're experienced enough then it'd be great to look at! ^^,

Questions
1 - According to the 'Profile Discussion Forum Rules and Guidelines' why is it wrong to bump a page constantly? talk2hand
2 - Name 3 reasons why you would report a profile.

Not all the time.
You can use the font:___; to specify size and font-family. When you said font I took it to meaning everything to do with the font (apart from I didn't include colour but you get the idea).

Question 1 - Because we're a slow forum and there's no point?
Question 2 - No Gaia header. Explicit content. Art theft.

Question 1 - What would "#about{height:200px;width:200px;border:red 2px dashed;background:white;} #about:hover{height:300px;width:100px;border:white 2px dashed;background:red;}" do?

Question 1 - What would "#about{height:200px;width:200px;border:red 2px dashed;background:white;} #about:hover{height:300px;width:100px;border:white 2px dashed;background:red;}" do?

Either it's a trick question (because of that hover thing), but I'm gunna answer it.
Ok, I'm assuming the about section would be a square with a red dashed border which isn't that thick, and the background is white. When it's hovered over, it'll change size, getting higher but thinner. The border will stay the same and the background will change colour to red.

Question
1 - How would you hide your avi in O.S?
2 - [Opinion] Would you find floating/scrolling things annoying? For example for a Christmas theme there would be random snowflakes falling to add effect

The border goes to white. But yeh, that's right.

Question 1 - #profile .avatar{display:none;}
Question 2 - Well....It depends on where and what the file size is. If it's a header and a small file size then that's fine. I saw a profile that had a rain like .gif behind each of it's panels, that was nice.
But if it's a whole background and the file is huge then no, never xd

Question 1 - Can anything layer over multimedia?
Question 2 - How would you put a border on each of a wishlist item?

Question 1 - Can anything layer over multimedia?
Umm, no? Unless the avi? But I still say no.
Question 2 - How would you put a border on each of a wishlist item?
#id_wishlist .item img{border: 1px;}

Question
1 - Name 3 image hosts websites that you can upload images on for your profile
2 - The coding '#id_journal p a' effects which bit in the journal? (V2 coding)
