Uhm. So did, like, Gaia eat the last page then vomit it back up?

Like a boomer? 8D
HAHAHAHAHA.

I heard L4D2 isn't that much different than L4D1.
Not worth like, 60 dollars to me for new maps. I'll just download some user made ones... ~~

@djbreezzy
You are correct. The Onion is awesome. User Image

@Omnia
ninja Sorry for late response. Ish.
responish...~ ish.

I also wanted to add warning your class mates about the zombie apocalypse around the time L4D2 came out makes you, and your speech, twice as awesome.
Possibly quadruple awesome as a result of bonus points.

Tell your teacher because I gave you bonus points of awesome you should get the 10 late points back, + an added 100%!.

Monkeys and a** hats. I don't want to turn these Binary Tree notes into Que-cards. =.=

In 1939, retail shops would have liked to have a longer shopping season, but no store wanted to break with tradition and be the one to start advertising before Thanksgiving. President Franklin D. Roosevelt moved the date for Thanksgiving one week earlier, leading to much anger by the public who wound up having to change holiday plans.[18] Some even refused the change, resulting in the U.S. citizens celebrating Thanksgiving on two separate days.[18] Some started referring to the change as Franksgiving.

Ah, Wikipedia- the source to go to but only if it's cited and the citations are true. ninja

Now the Thanksgiving weirdyness of it on two days has been solved para mi. 4laugh
@Konomi What makes it even more funnier is when you see people who actually believe the events reported by The Onion are real.

And about wikipedia, my teacher hates the site but I have to agree that you know it's safe when there are citations. I'm planning on making a wikipedia like profile with v2. However I've never tried v2 before. The columns stuff are too confusing.
The v2 profile system is quite confusing, but it's like layers, like how old school is.

It may seem like a monster at first, but it's extremely flexible, at least for me. ;P
If you don't like the restrictions of the "#columns" set the ".column" and "#columns" selectors to have an overflow property of visible and you'll be able to place any section anywhere.

The columns are actually just three div type wrappers (similar to the #sidebar and #main selectors in Classic type profiles) that hold content. They are just styled so that they "look" as if they are three columns, its actually just three separate divs in a straight line.
The reason I want to use v2 is actually for it's flexibility. If I were to make an old school version of a wikipedia like profile,everything would be very static and harder to manage content in terms of adding and removing them. And thanks for the tip Brink. I could see how v2 is similar to old school but with just more added on to it. v2 is not as bad as I thought.

People believe what they read too often. : O It's funny.
"Microsoft patented sudo!! DB zomg"

My teachers back in high school often complained about the students using Wikipedia too often as a source, too. It was hilarious whenever one would rant about how terrible of a site it was, because their argument was pretty much mis-informed, and poorly thought out opinions.

I've read some studies where they compare hard-copy old-school Encyclopedia's to Wikipedia.
The level of accuracy is roughly the same. Hard-copy books tend to be out-dated by the time they hit the shelves, and can contain as much written bias as any other written material out there.

Only that bias or inaccuracy can't be edited because it's in ink. Gotta' wait 5 years for a revision after fighting with an editor. The limited collaboration can also hinder information quality in an encyclopedias case.
Wiki is opened to a world of issues as well. ;p But both are on even ground so it bothers some teachers are still against it.

As for citations, I'd be more careful in terms of trusting them. I remember watching a movie the oil-companies created about "Global Warming" and how it was a loud of poo. They had a lot of o- screen citations, but when you actually back-tracked them you found out a lot of this stuff didn't exist or they modified it to horribly mislead the audience. Some of the people didn't exist, and they made up some departments in universities that didn't exist... and~ they cropped some graphs and changed some dates, etc... it was terrible, haha.

Wiki has gotten a bit better in terms of "truthness" since they started enforcing more "prove it before you can post it" policies, though.
And since they started blocking IP's of places like The Church of Scientology. xD
Long post is long cuz' I do not want to pay attention to my O.O. Advanced Programming class. D:

Wikipedia's enough until you find something else to back up the statement at least. XD Haha.

@Konomi~ They blocked The Church of Scientology? 8O Lmao. Geez.
o_o Church of Scientology? Sounds too sciencey. <<;
It was a religion fussed over like, ages ago because of Tom Cruise or something being in it. XD; Something to do with one state of your mind being "removed" or subdued to better yourself/life (Don't take my word for it though... |D; ). I've never cared to understand it or look into it myself.
@Jitaroo / Swell
Actually, no. Scientology is the Religion, the "Church of Scientology" is a bunch of douche bags who focus on destroying your life, lying to you, and stealing all of your money. 3nodding
Seriously.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology
... It has often been described as a cult that financially defrauds and abuses its members, charging exorbitant fees for its spiritual services.[6][15][16] The Church of Scientology has consistently used litigation against such critics, and its aggressiveness in pursuing its foes has been condemned as harassment.[17][18] Further controversy has focused on Scientology's belief that souls ("thetans" wink reincarnate and have lived on other planets before living on Earth.[19] Former members say that some of Hubbard's writings on this remote extraterrestrial past, included in confidential Upper Levels, are not revealed to practitioners until they have paid thousands of dollars to the Church of Scientology.[20][21] Another controversial belief held by Scientologists is that the practice of psychiatry is destructive and abusive and must be abolished.

Oh, and:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Scientology#Members.27_health_and_safety
...It was her second time on the rundown, her first time having been in June. Her appearance after death was that of someone who had been denied water and food for quite some time, being both underweight and severely dehydrated. Additionally, her skin was covered with over a hundred insect bites, presumably from cockroaches. She was locked in a room for 17 days. When she later died, the state of Florida pursued criminal charges against the Church. The Church has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, and now makes members sign a waiver before Introspection Rundown specifically stating that they (or anyone on their behalf) will not bring any legal action against the organization over injury or death.[51]

sweatdrop There are a lot of cases of this, from this cult.

And yes, they blocked the church of Scientology. : D
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology#Scientology_and_the_Internet
...The Arbitration Committee of the Wikipedia internet encyclopedia decided in May 2009 to restrict access to its site from Church of Scientology IP addresses, to prevent self-serving edits by Scientologists.[252][253] A "host of anti-Scientologist editors" were topic-banned as well.[252][253][252]

"Restricting access" basically means their editing privileges were re-voked from those IP addresses.

I know this because my High Schools "access" was restricted as well, due to stupid kids making stupid edits. gonk

Sorry for so many quotes.
I really hate that cult/ church. D:

CONCLUSION: Wikipedia does make an attempt to keep decent "truthness" information. heart

Woah woah, what?
L4D2 is WAYYYY better than L4D1. There is no comparison when you play it... The new infected make it WAY funner and more difficult, (Normal on L4D2, from my experiance, is sometimes equivilent to Expert on L4D1,) the characters feel a lot...realer and easier to love, the new gore system, is amazing, and the game is a lot...LOT cooler than the first. I have not touched the first game since I got the sequel.

Plus, it isn't really 60$... Well, On PC it's $50. I suppose on 360 it's expensiver but from what I hear, L4D2 sold over 2 million or something on the 360 since its release, so it has got to be good, right?

The Onion is super awesome, by the way.

@ Contest: So when is this christmas competition coming? Cause...It's December now. eek
