Let me take this time to remind everyone that the votes received from the poll reflect only "popularity". The number of votes a contestant receives will be recorded on the final version of the Ballot. The winner is *not* determined by number of votes.

Second Place x1 = 33,666g
Honorable Mention x2 = 13,013g

And, I will be posting the application for the Winter Round soon. Should we ditch the "reserve-a-slot" option? It was confusing to many, and people still ended up dropping out, even though they reserved a slot... so I think I'm going to call it a 'Fail.' xd Any other ideas? Keep it? Ditch it? When should the deadline be for the winter contest? I was thinking January (or February to include my birthday Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, and Mardi Gras. surprised )

February has a lot of things about it. o3o Including Black History month, Charles Dickens day, mybirthdaytoo and the Leap year to add to your list. XD
But thinking about it logically, (thinking it might be too long on the other hand) I'd say March, since that's roughly when Winter ends. It being long might give more reason to keep the "Reserve a spot" gig though.

Edit: You could either have a short contest, and have it end in December/January and keep it just for winter, or make it a longer contest and have it end March or so and maybe have a broader theme like winter/holidays/or anything else celibrated in this time frame.

Isn't Easter also during March?

Ditch it. Just make the number of entries unlimitied. (Or rather, limited to like 15-20)

I have a pic I want to use for the new profile layout, but I'm not sure if it goes against Gaia's TOS.

It's a santa nudie pic, but you can't see anything.

Would this be ok to use? Though I can't remember where I found it. I've had it for years.
