I just read my ballots. Thank you so much for all the insight. There were some statements that were a bit eh/harsh but I think they were very fair and helpful.

The harsh thing I can agree with -- some comments made me go ".___.;;" XD But I mean that's how you get better!

The only comment I didn't like and didn't help me much was from Judge A

This is a case of a judge who did not fully understand the rules, I suppose. I'll admit the title of the contest was misleading though, (since the profiles didn't have to have anything to do with spring).

I think I was making your question out to be more complex than it is. xd The judges don't choose their own letters; I choose random letters for them. It used to be Judge A, B, C, and so on, but that got boring and predictable, plus when we had two contests going on at once, it got confusing.

Can I ask a question? If I were to enter the next round and do the CSS and with my sister doing the graphics- would that be allowed?

The closest in the rules I saw to what I'm asking is the quotation below but the graphics will be unique to the profile.

Thank you for asking. That would be fine. You should give credit to the artist (your sis) if you are not the only one using the art. That way, if someone sees it on your profile, then sees it somewhere else online (or vise-versa), they won't be saying "OMG you stole art!" I'm totally for collaboration! Yay for working together! whee

Judge A: Let's just say that invisible scrollbars aren't really my forte sweatdrop And I was trying to conserve on load-up speed since some profiles generally take about 5 minutes to load. redface

Judge T:The profile's supposed to be right aligned o_O and I'm not sure about this 'annoying think pink line' you're speaking of. And if the negative space is all to the left, I didn't want to bog anyone's connection down... once again. -_-"

Judge U:As stated before, if I added a patterned background (or interesting background than the bland pink) it would kill off one's internet. ._." And I'll dearsay, it's not worth looking at a profile that takes forever to load. (Forever as in 5 minutes, which usually happen to be only my profiles for some reason. crying )

Have you tried compressing your images to the best lossless quality? Sounds to me like you may be using some big file sizes. I think a user by the name of [Tazer The ArchAngel] may be able to help you more on that issue.

Kale, I'm not too sure on that since I'm still new to GIMP and all. (Graphics and file sizes are definitely not my forte. Filming, editing video, DDR and coding (sometimes; these few months haven't been so great lately) is. You can definitely ask my twin Hiiku-na about why.)

Judge U was my fav -- so descriptive in the answers! Touched the bad ALONG with the good aspects of the profile [:

Judge T's answers were short but really helpful because they held so much information in such small amount of words (if that even makes sense...)

Judge H I wish elaborated more, it's hard to improve where there isn't much said.

Judge A was pretty harsh on everyone but at the same time, all the answers made sense -- so it wasn't like the harshness was being pulled from thin air XD;

And that's just my critique on the judging 8]! The more description the better -- even if it's not always good stuff! (but good stuff is nice too!!)
