How do you hide your profile code from being seen when someone checks the source code?

It's not possible. The code you put in to your profile goes into an embedded stylesheet, which is directly in the source code. Even if it was an external style sheet (so linked in from another page, so all there would be is a URL to the CSS file), it would still be visible with enough searching. In order for the CSS to work, the page has to be able to see the code, and if the page can see it, then users can too.

If you're worried about someone stealing your code, there isn't exactly much you can do. Fortunately not too many people seem to steal code (not everyone is even competent enough to figure out how to find it in the source code), but unfortunately Gaia doesn't exactly have rules about stealing code for if it does happen. Of course it's frowned upon, but there is no rule that explicitly says people can't steal code. Gaia only regulates art theft, not code theft.
