I don't see why you'd put them on repeat. They're way too huge.

Anyway, try setting them as the background for the #comments .caption instead.

So, delete this:

.caption2 .message { background:url( http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n309/disturbedchik/redandblackswirl.jpg ) top left repeat; }

Add this:
