You're missing a ; after background: #000000

#site { margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; width: 760px; }

You tried that?
Yes, and I tried putting percentages, then px values. It does nothing.
Can you tell me what I would put in to center it?
Ah... it's not working because you put it at the end of your profile - after a section which is missing the closing }

.section{padding: 0 px 0px 0px; margin-left: 5px;

That needs } after it. Then, the code up there will work when added. 3nodding

Is it working now?

Ok so I did that, and the whole thing broke e_e
Is there another way to separate the sidebar and main?

I'd like to get the content background to be patterned and not a solid color, but i can't find a code for that...

No, you didn't do that. gonk You need to ADD a } to the part I pasted up there, not remove it from the code for centering. >.<

To separate them, you have to manually position them, I think you can use #main to refer to the main block, but I'm not sure. I haven't messed around with that.

You just put url(image URL) instead of #000 - with #000 being the solid colour that would otherwise be there. :3

There's code for the caption bubbles on the first page, just use that and set the background to whatever colour you want them to be. :3

Oh, I just missed it when I copied it down.

And would using #main move it out of the content area?

As the years went by
We drifted apart.
When I heard that you were gone
I felt a shadow cross my heart.
