Is there anyway to fix that? Anything to do with the column width?
That's because Gaia has set a maximum width for images in each column. The middle column's default maximum image width is 475px, but you resized the column to 380px wide. You also resized the about panel inside the column to 380px as well, but that's adding to the problem because of the padding on the panel stretching it to bigger than 380px and therefore bigger than the width of the column, which causes the edge to be cut off.
You have to get rid of the width on #id_about, and then change the max-width on the images in column 2 (selector: #column_2 img) to something smaller, most likely your best option would be the width of the column (380px) minus the horizontal padding on the panel (15px on left and 10px on right, adding up to 25px):
