how do i put playlist in my profile

im having same problem i rlly want my playlist on my profile but i dont knowhow to do it gonk and i have read what the ppl said and tryed it but it wont work and im not that good with computers i just need a simple way to put my playlist on my gaia profile please help me crying cry cry

A direct copy of something I posted in another thread.

Firstly, the terms Classic and OldSchool are interchangeable. They refer to the same profile type. Same as Current and V2, they also refer to the same profile type. Please be sure to read all of this and avoid commenting / responding to this topic any further, so that others who may come can see this post.

I'll start with the Classic type profile. To add a media to a Classic type profile.

1. Go to your "Account Preferences" page
2. Click the "multimedia" link. If you don't know where it is, refer to this picture.
3. At the multimedia link page, enter the url of the media ( flash type only) and save. Refer to this image for what the multimedia page looks like.

Please note that Classic type profiles can only have 1 multimedia at a single given time. You change that multimedia by following the same steps above. If you do not see the link I am refering to, it means that you have a Current type profile. Be sure to check the "Choose Profile" option to ensure you know which profile type you are using.

For Current type profiles, this is what you do to add a multimedia.

1. Go to your Profile and click "Edit My Profile Layout" located at the top. Refer to this image to find it.
2. Then you click "Content"
3. Click "Add" beneath "Media"
4. Click "Edit" on the new panel. Refer to this image to see what I'm talking about.
5. Finally enter the url of your media ( flash type only ) and click update. Refer to this image.

You can have as many media panels as you want in a current type profile. Just keep adding them via the "Content" selection and click "edit" on them to change their media urls.

first, you go on ur profile and press edit profile. than, on the edit box press content. in the content box, press add media. press edit on media. in media it should have title: and direct link: put the link of the media you want to have on ur profile. this works for playlists and youtube and photobucket. have fun. you welcome.

I think she means for a Classic style profile. I used to have to custom, but when I changed back, I can't seem to find my Media section anymore. 'Cause I need to change the color of my playlist, but I can't find the editing for the Media section. And now it won't let me change back to the Custom to do it that way. But yeah, I don't think her profile is the same style as you.
