This is so awesome, thank you!!! All I do is v.2 profiles and I've been waiting on a guide forever ^_^

I know another website as well for color codes. Its a fairly large list & contains the names of all the colors for those who want specifics. Click here.

Uh.....about those header things...with the 'Signature' and 'About me', some people make them, like, hearts or something, or have some awesomely cool thing. How do you do that? Do you know how? o.o I know you have to put it in the 'Theme' box on Account. But I don't know what you're supposed to put.

@ Copycat, just add this code to the "theme" area:

.panel h2 {background:url(URL OF IMAGE YOU WANT HERE);}

Change that to any image you want for your headers and that should do it 3nodding

Actually, the properties and values will work in Old School. The only thing that will be different is the selectors.

I.E. {border: 1px solid blue;} would work in both Old School and v2. It would just be #about{border: 1px solid blue;} for Old School and #id_about{border: 1px solid blue;} for v2.

The Gaia navigation selectors and some of the overall selectors (like "a" and "body" ) are also the same in both systems.

This should dramatically decrease the amount of threads being made about simple V2 codes.
I've only ever done old school. xp Maybe I'll try making a V2 one someday using this.

You have to keep the . in front of "panel" and the parentheses on the image.

You have this:
panel h2 {background:urlhttp://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk260/Seretai/Bleach/tesla.jpg;}

It should be this:
.panel h2{background: url(http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk260/Seretai/Bleach/tesla.jpg);}

That image isn't the best to use for panel headers because it's too large.

I don't believe this will decrease the threads dramatically. We all know people that most of the people that wander in here don't look at other threads before making their own, but it will be a lot easier to answer their question.
