Welcome to Gaia! ::

Try adding this-

/*Columns*/
#column_1{height:1000px;}

In v2, the 3 columns kind of overlap and constrict one another. For example, column 1 will affect column 2 and 3, column 2 can affect column 3, and column 3 has
no column to effect.

Basically, making the first column largen will affect the other two to show the rest of the content that is cut off. That's why your comments seem cut-off. 3nodding
I wonder if you guys still answer questions >x< ...
ANyways my question is, HOW can you put the contact buttons like this??

Only Classic type profiles use the #bar method. Correct me if I'm wrong. You should be able to get the same effect in a Current type profile, by adding an image with a url. Via the "Text" option in "Edit my profile layout". Add in the BBCode as you would in the forums.

whee Ok, another problem, tried hard to make it work, but can't find a way...

I'm trying to make my links go #EBEBEB, and when hovered it goes different. It works for some: but not all. Some stay brown (original) and some change...

Here's the code for the link and the comment box:

/*LINKS*/
a:hover{ color: #FFF; border-bottom:dashed 1px;
background:url(http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s218/glorious_site/Hover1.gif);}
a:hover{ font-family: arial; font-size: 12px;}

a:link {color: #B6B6B6;}
a:link{font-family: arial; font-size: 12px;}

/*COMMENTS*/
#id_comments {position:absolute; left:100px; top:450px; width:315px;}
#id_comments {background: #EBEBEB;}
#id_comments .avatar {display:none;}
#id_comments dt {font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: #C8C8C8; font-weight: bold;}
#id_comments dd {color: #A2A2A2; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; text-align: justified;}
#alert_container{font-family: arial; font-weight: bold; font-size: 12px; color: #B6B6B6;}

Just check my profile again if you don't get what I mean smile

Edit - just realised that it looks okay in Internet Explorer, but on Mozilla there's the odd brown link ...
Okay!
How about changing the color of each link???
Links like if you do a custom of the contact buttons?...
For example, "CMMT | PM" ?? DD: (Sorry I'm BAD at explaining x__X)
Ok i was wondering if someone could help me? I just want the spaces in between my panels to be gone? Not sure how to do that...or at least make it smaller space

If you feel like helping maybe you could pm me?

For sikh-91, I've checked your profile in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I can't seem to find anything wrong with the coloring of any links. They all look the same on before and after hovering. =)

For Rain Petals, I believe you can replicate a "link button" by going to "Edit my profile layout", selecting "Text" and placing this within.

Make sure you edit the urls as you need to. =)

For Amaranthos, this code should give you the desired effect you want.

Code
#column_1
{ margin-top: 575px;}

#column_2
{ margin-top: -25px; margin-left: 25px;}

.panel
{ margin-top: -10px;}

You can't using C.S.S but you can via the "Edit my profile" link. Once you have a valid media url ( ends in .swf or is a flash file of some type) it should work.

  1. Click "Edit My Profile Layout"
  2. Click "Content"
  3. Click "Add" beneath "Media"
  4. Click "Edit" on the new media panel that shows up.
  5. Put in the url and click "Update"
  6. Click "Save"

Edits: I have another question...is it possible to have just the background in my panels to have an opacity setting and not the contents of the panels?
