I DO NOT MAKE PROFILES FOR OTHERS
DON'T ASK ME TO CODE YOU A PROFILE"
If he decides to block his profile, I even took a screenie! > x

Honestly, I could teach you how to make a profile, just don't steal my codes.

and it turns out he made the profile so he commented on the forum saying
''yeah, i made that profile, and that's code stealing. you can either get reported or pay for a profile where i can make you something like that.''

Its not a big deal okay? You are making it seem like you created the site and took 10 years to install the ability to put the codes in ive seen you do the s**t it takes you almost 20 minutes. Dont get so worked up over stuff and you stole the You obviously lack originality thing from me Kaythxbai

I don't mind people taking snipits of my code here and there, that's how I learned a lot of more complicated things, but that's a bit ridiculous.
That's happened to me once before, but with a profile I had created for someone elses use. Though I at least left credits in the profile, saying who made it and for whom.

Currently Im practicing on my profile so they aren't professional
Luckily, I have full ownership that it was my profile
by adding my name in some places of the code.
People can get reported for stealing or copyright.

While it sucks if someone steals your profile, there's not really much that can be done unless your graphics that you made were taken as well. You didn't create the coding so anyone has the right to claim it as their own. Like Crystal said, a custom background and other images that make up most of your profile help prevent it from being stolen. You're mad now but you'll get over it, I've had it happen before. You can always make a new one. emotion_bigheart

Seriously, acting like you've done anything unique or in anyway interesting is just lying to yourself. You are not special. You are not a unique snowflake.

Your profile is nothing special, and you didn't write all the code on it.

Personally, I actively tell people to steal my CSS. Hell, I even started a little movement about it. Why? Because firstly it's not theft anyway, secondly because it helps the community grow. In fact, you're using css that indirectly (or directly) came from me. You can't really say "OH, DON'T COPY ANY OF MY CODE EVER BOOHOOHOO" when you're using css copied from others.

In short: Harden the ******** up, chill the ******** out and let it go. You'll feel better about it, and they might learn CSS.

Here's a heads up, you cannot report somebody for taking the CSS itself. Just the graphics, on the condition that you make the graphics yourself or have ownership of them. So let them report away, you can take an entire profile layout, change all the images, and that's still completely valid to do.
